BREAKING: Amber Alert cancelled after child found in Pembroke

York Regional Police have cancelled an Amber alert issued Monday morning after locating four-year-old Julia Dela Cruz in Pembroke, ON.

Police say they located the Aurora girl and arrested her father, Mario Rodrigues, 35, following a collision in Renfrew County. Rodrigues has been taken to hospital.

York Regional Police have issued an Amber Alert for four-year-old Julia Dela Cruz who Police say was abducted by her father, Mario Rodrigues, 35, early Monday morning.

The vehicle, a 2008 silver Toyota Sienna van with a license plate BEZY 781, was last seen travelling south in Aurora.

Julia is described as 3’5”, 60 lbs, with brown shoulder-length hair, and is wearing a green shirt and green track pants.

Mario is described clean shaven with short, dark hair, brown eyes, and 160 pounds. He is wearing a red and white plaid jacket.
