Cardinal Carter marks Earth Week with e-waste collection

To celebrate Earth Week, the students of Cardinal Carter Catholic High School's Free the Children Club are hosting a charity e-waste event on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school at 210 Bloomington Road in Aurora. No cost and No risk to those who drop off their e-waste.
For each pound of e-waste we collect, we will receive 10 cents. All monies are going to support the school and community in Baarind, India that we have adopted. Our school worked to raise $10,500 in September to build a new school for this community.
This is a win-win-win event -- we help our local community with safe recycling of electronic waste, the community in India receives funds to outfit the school, and local residents have a chance to get a jump start on the spring cleaning and de-cluttering.
Reclaim your space-- give us your e-waste.
