Optimists and Staples team up with $7,000 goal for local kids

August 19, 2015   ·   0 Comments

September is just around the corner and the Optimist Club of Aurora is once again teaming up with Staples (Yonge and Murray Drive) to make the magic happen for new and returning students in need.

Optimists Kimberley Kerr and Terry Sherin, left and right, were joined by Staples supervisors Rona Grasse and Clare Pugh, to launch the “Back to School” Program at the local store on Monday.

Donations may be made at your local Store and money collected will go towards gift cards, distributed through the Optimists, to families in need to ensure their kids have everything they need to start the school year off right.

The partnership hopes to raise $7,000 this year.
