Pay it forward for performer with “heart of gold”

June 18, 2014   ·   0 Comments

I was so sad when I read that Randy Skelcher had passed away.
Randy was an amazing person with a heart of gold. Even with all of his health issues Randy was always there to help anyone who needed help.
I saw him playing at the Legion many Friday nights. He was Elvis, Roy Orbison, plus many others. He played at seniors’ homes on fundraising days. As I have said, Randy would help anyone and everyone.
He was a great character and an even greater friend. His friends are holding a fundraiser for his widow and his three children at the Aurora Legion on Saturday, June 21 at 7pm.
Tickets are $25.00 each and can be bought at Dave’s Garage on Industrial Parkway. Even if you cannot make it please try to make a donation through Dave’s Garage.
Randy was a great person. Rest in peace.
