Sarah’s Drive for Hope, a bone marrow drive spearheaded by local students, continues at Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School next Thursday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Come and get swabbed to join the bone marrow registry in hope of finding a match for bone marrow patients. People between the ages of 17 and 35 can be swabbed.
Sarah’s Drive for Hope was founded to honour Sarah Watkin, an amazing seven-year-old with an infectious smile and personality who lost her battle with cancer in November, but not before inspiring schools across York Region to host bone marrow drives. Dr. G.W. Williams is located at 39 Dunning Avenue.
